Mr. Lain, born in Olton, had lived in Panhandle 27 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Panhandle.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Ford Lain of Panhandle; his grandmother, Mrs. Elmer Baker of Panhandle; two sisters, Susan James of Canyon and Christy Sams of Panhandle, and several nieces and nephews.
