Mrs. Lydia Ann Garber, 73, widow of Levi Garber, died at 12:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the home of her son, Lester Garber, Walton route 2. She had been ill six months.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Old Order German Baptist Brethren church, on the old route of road 24 about five miles southwest of Peru, Thursday at 2pm. Interment will be in Metzger cemetery, south of Peru. The body was taken to the Drake funeral home on West Third street, where friends may call after 3o'clock Wednesday afternoon.

Survivors include the son at whose home death occurred and the following other children; Oren Garber,of Walton: Charles Garber, Peru route 4: Harvey Garber, Mrs.Mary Baber. Mrs. Clara Walker, Mrs. Esther Stanley and Mrs. Eva LaBounty, all of Peru, and Mrs.Hazel Bullick, of Galveston. Surviving also are the following brothers and sisters: Abraham Neff, Tobias Neff, John Neff, Rufus Neff, Mrs. Bertha North and Mrs. Orfa Rice, all of Ohio. There are in addition 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Born in Darke County, Ohio, on December 21, 1872, the deceased was the daughter of Allen and Mary(Kreider) Neff. She was married at Red River, Ohio, on October 22,1892, to Levi Garber who died March 6, 1942.
