Three Springs Oran R. Cook, 77, of HCR 73, Three Springs, died at 10:29 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, 1994, in Chambersburg Hospital. Born Dec. 4, 1916, in Taylor Township, Fulton County, he was a son of the late Gilbert and Arminda Madden Cook.

He was a farmer. He attended Walnut Grove Church of God near Three Springs, and was a life member of Hustontown Area Volunteer Fire Company.

Surviving are his wife, Eletha P. Brown, whom he married March 11, 1939; a daughter, Beverly Wagner of Newville; two sons, George of Carlisle and David of Hustontown; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Dorothea Foreman of Edenville, Lauretta Bolinger of Robertsdale and Evelyn Brantner of Orrstown.

A brother and three sisters preceded him in death.

Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in M.R. Brown Funeral Home, Hustontown. The Rev. Edward Taylor will officiate. Burial will be in Center Cemetery, near Hustontown. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today and 9 to 1 1 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
