Surviving are his wife, Viola; a daughter, Teresa Hilyard of Elkhart; a son, Rick D. of Decatur; a sister, Norma Jean Bauman of Woodburn; and two grandchildren. A son, Ron, died in 1970.
Services at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Zwick-Sefton & Jahn Funeral Home, with calling from 4 to 9 p.m. today and 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday.
Burial in Decatur Cemetery, with graveside military rites by American Legion Adams Post 43. Memorials to American Lung Association.
