Patricia A. Miller, 49, of 15 East Broadway, Gardner, died Thursday August 14, 2008 in UMASS Memorial Healthcare, University Campus in Worcester after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Patricia, daughter of the late Francis X. and Emily E. (Bingham) Miller was born in Holden May 23, 1959 and lived here many years.

Patricia graduated from Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical High School and studied Radio and Broadcasting. After graduating from high school, she worked for the Digital Equipment Corporation in both Massachusetts and California and worked as a ski instructor and on the ski patrol at Wachusett Mountain. Patricia then worked for N.F. Sheldon, Inc. Harley-Davidson and Buell in Auburn, retiring due to illness. Patricia loved horses and was a longtime active member of the Sierra Club. Throughout the years, she also had the privilege of being an extra in various movies filmed throughout New England including Mystic River and the Human Stain.

Patricia is survived by two brothers; Michael Miller of Gardner and Kevin Miller of Rindge, two sisters; Paula Miller of Worcester and Eileen Gauthier of Petersham and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by one brother; Thomas Miller of Hubbardston and one sister; Theresa Wells of Rutland.

You are invited to attend her funeral service in Lamoureux-Fletcher Community Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner on Saturday, August 23 at 10AM. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Hubbardston. Calling hours at the funeral home are from 5-8 pm Friday.
