Graveside Services for Virgil A. Anglen have been scheduled for 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at Park Grove Cemetery in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Hayhurst Funeral Home. Rev. James Stone, Jr. will officiate.

Virgil A. Anglen was born August 22, 1923 in Weer, Oklahoma the son of Ira Taylor and Clara (Weer) Anglen. Virgil died Friday, October 5, 2007 at the Veterans Hospital in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was 84 years of age.

Virgil lived his whole life in Broken Arrow. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during World War II and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was shot in the back and was missing in action for 4 months in Belgium. He was a machinist for C. E. Natco. He loved to go for drives in the car. He is survived by; Nieces, Deborah (Anglen)and husband Steve Robinson, Broken Arrow, OK
Diana (Anglen) and husband Adrian Davidson, Broken Arrow, OK; Sister, Eula Graves, CA; Brother, Ralph Anglen, Broken Arrow, OK; along with many other Nieces and Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews

He was preceded in death by brothers Ira Ray, Dolph, Edward, Hubert, sisters, Ruby, Sylvia and his parents.
