"GROVER- Mrs. Sue Proctor Yates, 90, of 111-1 Panda Court, died Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of York County, SC, she was a daughter of the late John Pinkney and Fannie Duff Proctor.

She was retired from the textile industry and was a member of Dover Baptist Church.

PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to her parents, her husband, William Brent Yates, son, Kenneth Allen, three grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, seven brothers, a sister, and a special niece, Lottie Whitner, preceded her in death.

SURVIVORS: She is survived by her daughter, Patsy Allen Wease of the home; a son, Gerald Eugene Allen and wife, Carolyn, of Grover; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren; and special friend, Dennis Wilson of Shelby.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2008 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home and at other times at the home.

FUNERAL: The funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Dover Baptist Church. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes before the service.

BURIAL: Burial will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park.

OFFICIATING CLERGY: Dr. B. Ervin Price."
