Samantha K. English, 35, of Harrisburg, passed away at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at Turner Manor in Harrisburg.
Samantha was born on July 14, 1972, in Harrisburg. She was raised by parents, Tim and Gretchen "Sue" (Yother) English. Samantha worked for Coleman Tri-County and was Baptist by faith.
Samantha is survived by her mother, Sue English; sister, Scarlett Gwaltney and husband Tracy of Eldorado; brother, Bruce English and wife Kerri of St. Louis, Mo.; biological mother, Romaine Carlton and husband Dale of Evansville, Ind.; brother, Mike Huff, of Guthrie, Ky.; six nieces, Brista English of Carterville, Brittany English of Harrisburg, Brandi Questelle of Harrisburg, Brittany and Brooklyn Cannon of Eldorado, Cristy Huff of Galatia; one nephew, Harrison Huff of Guthry, Ky.; two great-nephews; and one great-niece.
Samantha was preceded in death by her father, Tim English; maternal grandparents, Sam and Eva Yother; and a niece, Candace Fleischmann.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2008, at Sunset Lawn Cemetery. The Rev. Ownly Williams will officiate and burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
