E. [Mush] Ables, living with his daughter, Mrs. Savage, in the String Town community, died the 11th inst. of consumption. The remains were interred Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Weaver graveyard, Rev. C. G. Wright conducting funeral services. He was 62 years of age and had been a resident of that section for a good many years. He leaves two children and a large number of relatives to mourn his death.
