Aleatha Faye Abercrombie

Aleatha Faye Abercrombie, 86, of Mobile died Monday, June 16, 2008. She was a native of the Cox Station area of Maplesville and a former resident of Robertsdale.

Abercrombie was a 1940 graduate of Robertsdale High School. She worked as an inventory control manager for McKisson Robin Drug Co. from March 1942 until retiring in March 1982. She was a member of American Business Women and Central Baptist Church in Mobile.

Survivors include three sisters, Jessie Ray Abercrombie and Sue A. Buck, both of Mobile, and Betty Thrower of Milledgeville, Ga.

Funeral services will be held at

10 a.m. Wednesday at Mack Funeral Home in Robertsdale with the Rev. Ron Pierce officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens in Fairhope.

A visitation will be held from 6 to

8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to Central Baptist Church, 998 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, AL 36605; or to a favorite charity.
