Donald Lee Ayres
At his request, there was no service for Donald Lee Ayres, 51, of Grover City. Cremation will be followed by burial at sea under the direction of Sunset Funeral Chapel of Grover City.
Mr. Ayres was a truck driver who was born Jan. 17, 1928 in Atascadero and was a life-long resident of San Luis Obispo County. He died Saturday in a San Luis Obispo hospital.
Survivors include the widow, Donna Ayres of Grover City; three daughters, Carol Ann Anderson of Los Osos; Cheryl Lynn King of Grover City; and Debbra Jean Ayres of Grover City; a son, Richard Ayres of Grover City; three brothers, Art Ayres of Atascadero; Joe Ayres of Sacramento; Tom Ayres of Arroyo Grande; a sister, Ada Mae Brown of Santa Margarita; and six grandchildren.
Donations in Mr. Ayres memory may go the Cancer Society.
