Louise E. COEN, 84,of Denver, Colo., died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2000, in her home in Denver.
The funeral was held Sept. 22 in Olinger Hampden Chapel, with the Rev. Jan Erickson-Pearson of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Burial was in Hampden Memorial Gardens in Denver.
A memorial has been established for Centura Home Care and Hospice at 2420 W. 26th Ave., Denver, Col. 80226.
Mrs. COEN was born April 2, 1916, in Batavia, the daughter of Robert and Minnie FOREMAN. She married Paul E. COEN Feb. 13, 1942, in Des Moines.
She grew up in the Batavia area, graduating from Batavia High School. She resided in Denver for more than 50 years and was a long-time employee of the Denver Dry Goods Company, receiving many commendations as an outstanding employee.
Survivors include her husband Paul; two daughters, Pamela McGUIRE of Silverthorne, Colo., and Patricia COEN of Lancaster, Pa.; one son, Stephen COEN of Kodiak, Alaska; and one sister, Evelyn DUGGAN of Denver.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Earl, Albert and Ralph FOREMAN; and one sister, Helen COON.
