Mr. Stumpff had been blind for 60 years but had been a successful farmer in the Cato community east of Cassville, where he had lived for 68 years, moving there when from Dade County, April 1, 1872. He was a member of the Church of Christ of Cassville.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Nellie Lassiter of Bakersfield, CA, and several grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Cassville Church of Christ. Burial was in the Mineral Springs Cemetery, near Cassville.
