Peggy was born on March 31, 1938 in Independence, Missouri. She was an employee of Western Electric for 25 years, retiring at the age of 52. She loved to travel and fly with the love of her life, Bob Bond, in his private plane. Peggy visited Hawaii, Canada, and Mexico, as well as numerous vacation plane destinations with Bob and her beloved sisters June, Joan, and Gloria. She previously lived for many years at her home at The Vespers in Blue Springs, Missouri, where she made many lifelong friends. Prior to moving to The Vespers, she had a home for 33 years in Grandview, Missouri, where she raised her family.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents Alice and Joseph Liles, brother Dean Liles, sisters Joan Hartford and June Baldwin, and daughter-in-law Waynette Weeks.
She is survived by Bob Bond, sister Gloria (Don) Hoggatt, brother David (Lori) Kincaid, sons Archie (Tambra) Weeks and Robert (Glenda) Weeks, 10 loving grandchildren, 16 beautiful great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Peggy will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 1-2 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd. Kansas City, MO 64133. A funeral service will occur at 2:00 PM with a graveside service to follow. Following the services, a reception will be held at Abundant Life Church in the Admin Building, 304 SW Persels in Lee's Summit, MO 64081.
