Jill Garman

Jill E. Garman, 77, of Covington, passed away Friday morning, January 26, 2024, at her residence. She was born November 4, 1946, in Troy, to the late Frank Allen Jr. and Oleta Fern (Wolfe) Cawley. She married Terry J. Garman on October 9, 1971; he survives.

She will also be missed and remembered by her children, Jennifer (Marshall) Heath of Troy and Christopher Garman of Covington; five grandchildren, Eliana, Nicolas & Samuel Heath, Abbygail & Allen Garman; siblings Jackie (James) Hewatt of Lilburn, Ga., Sherry Moore of Covington, Ted Cawley of Troy. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jeri Weikle.

Jill was a 1965 graduate of Troy High School and a member of First Brethren Church, Pleasant Hill. She had worked for several area businesses, but most enjoyed being a homemaker and caring for her grandchildren.

Private services will be held at Moore Funeral Home, Covington, with burial to follow in Miami Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Ohio's Hospice of Miami County. Online condolences may be left for the Garman family at moorefh.com.
