Born on May 10, 1930 in Saint Paul Minnesota, she was the daughter of George and Pearl (Hartman) Brown.
As a child, Loretta grew up in Saint Paul, where she met her future husband, Donald Myron Jones. Loretta and Donald married on June 12, 1948, and had five children. Loretta ran a daycare out of her home for many years, and during the summer, she would work at the Minnesota State Fair. Loretta was actively a part of The Good Sam Club and the Red Hat Society. After she retired at 62, she and Donald would travel in their RV and volunteer in their local community at The Village in Waterville Minnesota.
She is survived by her children Neil (Marcia) Jones of South Saint Paul MN, Jean (Leland) Kendrick of Osceola WI, and Wayne (Teresa) Jones of Minneapolis MN; daughter-in-law Rose Jones of FL; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Loretta is preceded in death by her husband of 71 years; parents; 2 sons, Dean in infancy, and Gary; and brother George Allen Brown.
