MAYBROOK—George W. Carr, of Tower Avenue died yesterday in St. Luke's Hospital, Newburgh , where he was taken after being stricken while at work in the Newburgh Warehouse at the Fifth Carpes Company. He was a shipping clerk.
Mr. Carr was born in Warwick, June 18, 1904, a son of Henry and Anna McLaughlin Carr. He had lived here for two years.
Surviving are his wife, the former Ethel G. Womick ; two daughters, Mabel and Marguerite at home, ;two sisters, Mrs. C. R. Petri of Miami Florida and Mrs. C. H. Hammond of Woodhaven ; two brothers, Henry Carr of Herkimer and Jeffe of Miami and nieces and nephews.
The Rev. Arthur J. Smith will conduct funeral services at the home here on Thursday at 2:30. P.M Interment will be in Walkill Valley Cemetery, Walden
Friends may call at the home Wednesday evening.
