Dorothy was born December 29, 1929, in Winona Minnesota.
She attended school in Winona along with her 10 siblings. She moved to Caledonia when she got married. The Lord blessed her greatly with 66 years of marriage to her loving husband, Francis. She was blessed with 7 children, numerous grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and many close friends.
Dorothy's legacy is that of an inspiring, compassionate, and wonderful person to be around. She had a teaching heart. She was a devoted homemaker and also worked as a Medical Transcriptionist at Gundersen Clinic. Dorothy loved music. She was a gifted and highly talented pianist who used her talents to faithfully serve the Lord as an organist at St. Mary's Catholic Church. She did this for 60+ years (until age 90). Dorothy also had many hobbies which included reading, knitting, crocheting, quilting, card playing, and traveling.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Steven, Nancy (Tom) Prest, Jim, Bruce, Patty (Keith) Nedegaard, Mike (Sherri), numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Francis; parents, Mary Skorlinski and Leon Feltz; all her brothers and sisters; daughter, Mary (Gary) Guerts; a grandchild, Kyle Wiermerslage; and a great-grandchild, Madison Holten.
