Duane Daniel Fiedler, 60, passed away on December 2, 2023 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS.

Duane was born on October 10, 1963 in McPherson, KS to parents, Anthony Carl and Geraldine Catherine (Liecker) Fiedler, Sr.

Duane attended Lincoln Elementary School, McPherson Junior High and McPherson High School.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in McPherson

He was a member of the US Army.

Through the years, Duane worked MCDS, McPherson, Kansas and retired from Compass Mineral Company, Lyons, Kansas in 2016.

Duane enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to drag races, grand kids events, and spending time with his children and family.

He is survived by his children, Brandi Reazin (Tom) of Chase, Kansas and Colette Pitts (Triston), of Geneseo, Kansas; grandchildren, Troy Reazin, Elizabeth Reazin, Caleb Reazin, Raelon Pitts and Kenna Pitts; a great grandchild, Remington Reazin; his sisters, Gail Gill (Tim), of New Stanley, New Mexico, Sherry Fiedler, of McPherson and Janet Stine (Dan), of Roscoe, Illinois; brothers, Ron Fiedler (Dee) and Randy Fiedler, both of McPherson; other relatives, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Duane was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Tony Fiedler, Jr., Greg Fiedler and Roger Fiedler; his sisters, Annette Fiedler and Kim Fiedler; and a granddaughter, Kaci Reazin.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, McPherson, KS. with the Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 8, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, McPherson, KS with Fr. Ben Shockey officiating.

Burial will be held at McPherson Cemetery McPherson, KS.. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post 24 and Veterans of Foreign Wars post 2415.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Duane Fiedler Memorial Fund and they can be sent to Glidden-Ediger-Wiggins Funeral Home, 222 W. Euclid St.; McPherson, KS 67460.
