Connie Ray (Show) Yates, age 77, died Thursday, November 30, 2023. She was born February 9, 1946 in Salina KS. She was the eldest daughter John R. and Bonnie J. (Taylor) Show, Sr.

She worked at Wyatt Manufacturing; Meadowlark Day Care; Durham Bus Service and OCCK.

She enjoyed bowling, time spent at the bar with her friends, anything Elvis Presley, puzzles, KU basketball, being around kids, driving the OCCK bus, going to all "her kids" sporting events and music programs, and visiting with her church family.

Sherry became a member of the First Baptist Church, Salina, KS on March 16, 2008. Her favorite bible verse was Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through him who strengthens me."

She is preceded in death by her father, John R. Show Sr; mother, Bonnie J. (Taylor) Show Fuller; beloved dogs; and a nephew.

Survivors include her children, Debbie Cooper; Ronnie (Stephan Clements) Freeman; grandchildren, Krystal (Jordon Hayden) Hendrix; Jesse (Tiffany Ray) Freeman; Ryan Cooper; brother, John (Lois) Show Jr; sister, Joyce Show; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Graveside service in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina, KS. There will be a luncheon following the service at Connie's house, Salina, KS. Memorials can be made to the family, in care of Ryan Mortuary, Salina, KS.
