Gayle was born December 29, 1950, in Mexico, MO the daughter of the late Glenn & Gladys (Braham) McCarty. She was united in marriage to Timothy James Billings on August 15, 1970, in Centralia, MO.
She first worked for Shelter Insurance in Columbia, Mo and later she retired from Heritage Hall Nursing Home, where she was a medical records clerk. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and served as secretary for the Centralia Chamber of Commerce. She loved spending time talking with friends and family, reading and sewing.
Graveside services will be 11:00 am Thursday, October 5, 2023, at the Centralia City Cemetery in Centralia, MO.
