Vickie Wall of Comstock was murdered by John D. White who plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter and was sentenced to 12 years in prison. After his release in 2007 he went on to kill 24 year old Rebekah Gay in 2012. Before that, he was convicted of attempted murder of a 17-year-old Battle Creek girl after stabbing her 14 times, just to see her die, but she managed to survive, for which he served 2 years in prison.
