Obituary:
Very Rev. Dean Charles J. Keane, V.F., Headford Grove, Ceanannus Mor, who has died aged 80, was attached to the diocese of Rockhampton, Australia for 56 years. He retired as pastor of St Theresa's, Rockhampton in 1975 and returned to his native town.
He was educated at St. Finnian's College Mullingar, and All Hallows College, where he was ordained in June 1921, and he went to Australia a few months later. He is survived by his sister, Miss Daisy Keane.
