Ronald E. "Tonce" Fetsco, 84, of Bruceton Mills, WV, formerly of Connellsville, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023 peacefully at his home. Ron was born April 2, 1939 in Monarch a son of the late John and Margaret (Morris) Fetsco. Ron retired from Cumberland Mines, Local 2300. He also served in the US Army. He was a former member of Monarch and Morrell Volunteer Fire Departments. Ron was also a former member of St. John Evangelical Church, Connellsville and St. Hugh Catholic Church, Carmichaels. Ron enjoyed hunting, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family. Ron is survived by his wife of 56 years, Margaret (Spaugy), one son Ron (Jennifer) Fetsco, one daughter Bethann (Michiel) Korsmit, two grandchildren; Chelsea and Ronnie Fetsco, three great-grandchildren; Scarlett and Harrison Fetsco, and Reese Norris, one sister Loretta Koval, and nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME LLC 123 S. 1st St. West Side, Connellsville (724) 628-9033 on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8PM, and Tuesday from 10-10:30AM the time of service with Pastor Lee Maley officiating. Interment will follow in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown.
