Lillian Frances (Sanders) Schultz, age 66, of Guttenberg, formerly of Waterloo, Iowa and Highland Indiana, was born the daughter of the Charles and Geneva (Dodson) Sanders, November 3, 1938, in Gilmer, Texas. She died Sunday, October 16, 2005, at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital following a short illness. On June 13, 1959, Lillian was united in marriage with Alton Schultz at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Highland, Indiana Lillian was a school bus driver for the Town of Highland and was a homemaker for many years. She enjoyed reading, crafts, and bowling with the Welcome Wagon in Highland. In Guttenberg she was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Her activities at Trinity included the Evangelism Board, Altar Guild, Ladies Aid, and Wednesday Bible Class. Lillian was also a member of Red Hat Ladies and TOPS. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Alton; two daughters, Karen (John) Moore of Newton, Iowa, and Susan Schultz of Guttenberg; one sister, Sandra (Jim) Reed of Menominee, Michigan; three brothers, Charles (Carol) Sanders of Elko, Nevada, George Sanders of Indiana, and Dennis Schultz of Wallace, Michigan; two grandchildren Kailey Moore and Ian Moore, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
