Helen was a 1944 graduate of Newcomerstown High School, a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Newcomerstown and a member of the YMCA of Dover. She was employed by Jones Metal and retired from Abolight Lighting of West Lafayette. She is survived by her children, Sue (Greg) Bowman and Jim Harstine all of Newcomerstown, her two loving and caring grandchildren, Brian and Stephanie Harstine of Columbus and her sister Betty Miller of Warsaw. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Wayne L. Harstine on December 8, 1993. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 11 a.m. at West Lawn Cemetery in Newcomerstown with the Rev. Kenneth Hacker officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 121 South College St., Newcomerstown, OH 43832 or to the donors favorite charity.
