A graveside "celebration of life" was held for Susan Wolff at West Lawn Cemetery in Newcomerstown, OH on June 6, 2015 at 11 AM.

Susan was born on March 30, 1962 in Coshocton Hospital to James and Judy Wolff. She has been missing from Newcomerstown since March 16, 1982, and her family is not sure about her date of death, but decided to have this service for her on June 6, 2015 because that was the day Susan was confirmed into St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Newcomerstown in 1976. It was a happy day for her and all her family and she was a member of St. Paul's all her life and belonged to its Youth Ministry.

As a teenager, Susan played the part of Mary in the church outdoor pageant and was an active member of this group. She also was a graduate of Newcomerstown High School in 1980 and was an active member of the High School band from 1976 as a trombone player and becoming a majorette in 1977 and head majorette in 1979. Susan loved the band and all their accomplishments, which were many during those years. She became a certified baton instructor in 1979 at the Fred Miller Studio in Centerville, OH. Susan started giving baton lessons at this time and eventually had her own twirling group called "The Purple Riderettes" out of Port Washington and Newcomerstown.
She worked part-time at Thompson's IGA in Newcomerstown and part time at Mercy Medical Center in Canton, OH.

Susan is survived by her parents; a son; three brothers; five nieces; three nephews; and several aunts, uncles and friends. She has been greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

Officiating the service was Pastor William Haggis Sr.

"For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven." Eccl 3:1" - Susan's confirmation Bible verse which she and her mother picked out.
