George retired as a dairy farmer, then worked for the Mid-Del Board of Education as an interschool mail carrier. He belonged to the parrish of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
George married Helyn Mary Swanda on June 10, 1940 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
He is survived by his wife Helyn Mary of the home, son Rick Koelsch of Oklahoma City, four daughters Shari Davison of Midwest City, Diane Baker of Oklahoma City, Linda Cecil of Durham, Oklahoma and Carol Long of Del City, ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and three brothers.
Prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Barnes & Johnson FH Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 25, at St. Joseph Old Cathedral Catholic Church with burial at Worley Cemetery. Services under the direction of Barnes & Johnson Funeral Home.
