Clema Geraldine (Roher) Nead, 97, of HC 73, Three Springs, died at 9:30 AM, Friday, June 9, 2006, at ther home in Clay Township, Huntingdon Co, PA.
Born June 27, 1908, in the Three Springs area, she was the daughter of Joshua B. and Olive (Lane) Roher. She was married to Stanley R. Nead, September 10, 1925. Mr. Nead preceded her in death, January 1, 1969.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter; Leo R. Nead, Three Springs; Donald P. Nead, Huntingdon; and Phyllis R. Metz, Three Springs. There are eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Two brothers and one sister are deceased.
Mrs. Nead was a member of Immanuel Bible Church of Three Springs, R.R. She was also a member of the Business and Professional Women of Huntingdon and enjoyed many traveling opportunities with the organization. A highlight of her life was a trip to the Holy Land. Mrs. Nead had been owner/operator of Reliable Cleaners in Huntingdon from 1945 until 1988. Associated with the business, she had been a member of the former Dry Cleaners Guild.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Monday, June 12, 2006, at the Immanuel Bible Church, Three Springs, R.R., with the Rev. Steve Heaster officiating. Interment will be made in the Cherry Grove Cemetery, Three Springs, R.R.
Friends may call at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia, from 7-9 PM, Sunday, June 11, and at the church one hour prior to the service Monday.
