Sandra Jane Milligan McClure, age 83, of Knoxville, TN., formerly of Oak Ridge and Morristown, TN., passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 20, 2023. She was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church for over 50 years.
Sandra graduated from Oak Ridge high school and attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She was co-owner of Brown Drug Store for 28 years and was a former member of Ossoli Circle.
Sandra was a kind and loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was married to the love of her life, William (Bill) McClure for 53 years until his passing in 2011. She was caregiver to her father and then her mother for many years. She was adored by her family and well taken care of in her last months by her caregiver grandson, Aaron.
Preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Kathleen Milligan and husband, Bill McClure.
Sandra is survived by daughter Denise Jennings (Richard); son William McClure II (Sandra); grandsons, Aaron Davis and Evan Davis (Sierra); great-grandchildren, Kaylen Davis and Aspen and Liam Davis.
Family will receive friends at Click Funeral Home Middlebrook Pike, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p. m. on Friday, June 2, 2023. Service will begin at 1:00 p. m. Stephen DeFur and Danny Scott officiating. A graveside service will begin at 3:00 p. m. in Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Alcoa Highway.
