Graveside services for Gerald R. Ugolini, 75, of Greenville will be at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Greenville Cemetery. He died Monday, March 20, 2023 at Ruleville Nursing and Rehab Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Gerald was born in Greenville, MS and graduated from St. Joseph Catholic School. After graduation he attended and graduated from University of Southern Mississippi. After college he moved back to Greenville where he taught in the Public Schools. He later moved to New Orleans where he worked with Popeye's before returning back to Greenville where he was employed at Lowe's. Gerald had made his home in Vicksburg the past 10 years prior to becoming a resident in November 2022 at Ruleville Nursing and Rehab Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Mertice Slayton Ugolini, uncle, Hoyt Vaughan and aunt, Julia Ugolini Vaughan.
He is survived by a sister, Mary Ann Wright (David) and two brothers, Harold Ugolini (Mimi) and Frank Ugolini (Marilyn).
