Graveside services for Thelma Alvina Colwell, mother of Seminole residents, Gilbert Ross Sr. were scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 9 at the Little Cemetery, north of Seminole, with Terry Newell officiating.
Interment was also at the Little Cemetery under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home of Shawnee.
She died Friday, March 5, 2004, at the age of 68 at her home in Shawnee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin J. Colwell, two sons, Tommy Ross and Johnny Ross, one grandson, Greg Mehagan Jr., one brother, Ray Hart and one sister, Faye Lynn.
She is survived by one son, Gilbert Ross Sr. of Seminole, two daughters, Darla Kearney of Denton, Texas and Thelma Cain of the home, nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
