Stella Jean Smith (Teddie) January 4, 1943 - March 13, 2023 Stella (Teddie) Jean Smith was born January 4, 1943 in Youngstown, Ohio to James and Josephine Covelli. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends. She was a beloved Wife, Mother, Nana, and Friend. Loved by all she is survived by her husband of 56 years Chet Smith, son Christopher and daughter-in-law Jennifer Smith, 4 granddaughters Ashley, Hayley, Victoria and Emerson. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Josephine Covelli and granddaughter baby Kate Smith. She had many jobs: Bank Teller, School Aide, Stay at Home Mom, and Salon Coordinator at the Trendsetter Salon. But most of all she loved decorating, she could make anything look beautiful. She never met anyone she didn't like and she loved talking and making friends with everyone she met. She graduated from Ursuline High School in Youngstown, Ohio in 1961. We will be having a Celebration of Life on Monday, May 1st, 11:00am, at St. Adelaide Catholic Church at 27457 Base Line St., Highland, CA 92346. She will be interred at a later date at Riverside National Cemetery.
