Louis R. "Ish" Acri, 76, of 6 Frances Drive, Lower Paxton Township, Harrisburg, died Saturday, August 5, 2006, in the Harrisburg Hospital.He Was a retired chief engineer in the Frog Shop of Bethlehem Steel Corporation, a US Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean War, and a member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Harrisburg, Steelton Italian club, Rutherford House Senior Citizens, the Golden Gems and the American Legion.He was the widower of Wanda J. Grissinger Acri and is survived by two sons, Ronald J. Acri, Lewes, DE.; David M. Acri and his wife Lori, Harrisburg; and one daughter, Donna L. Crist, Jacksonville, FL.; three brothers, Ronald J. Acri and wife, Barbara, Steelton, James P. Acri, Harrisburg, and The Honorable Thomas F. Acri, Mayor of Steelton and his wife, Peggy; five grandchildren, Tesha, Tiffany, Ashley, Michael and Brittany; and six great-grandchildren, Miguel, Elyssa, Alexandra, Selena, Lillyana and Destiny.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 10, 2006 at 12 Noon in Holy Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Bernard P. McGinley, his pastor as celebrant. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Swatara Twp. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 10 until 11:30 a.m. in Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, 23rd and Derry Streets, Harrisburg.Memorial contributions may be made to the memorial fund of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 555 S. 25th St., Harrisburg, PA 17104.The Patriot-News, Harrisburg, 8 Aug 2006, pB4
