The death occurred at the Mudgee District Hospital on Tuesday
of Ernest Abbot, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Abbott, of Sydney, and
formerly of Pipeclay, aged 49 years. The deceased had been suffering
from pneumonia, of which he had had yearly attacks. His wife, two
boys and a girl survive him, also the following brothers and sisters:
Robert (Lue), James (Sydney), Percy (Mudgee), Mrs. Robert Hick-
son (Mudgee), Mrs. Charles Springthorpe (Sydney), Mrs. P. Drummond
(Sydney), Mrs G. Napper (Sydney), and Miss Nellie Abbot (Sydney).
The widow of deceased is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs Warner, of Linburn.
The remains were interred in the Church of England portion of the
Mudgee General Cemetery yesterday afternoon. Mr. J. C. Swords
had charge of the funeral arrangements.
