Monty Ray Wenthold went to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, December 16, 2022 at the age of 62. The son of Jaynelle (Holbrook) and Joe Wenthold, Monty was born May 18, 1960 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Monty grew up attending schools in the Oklahoma City area. In 1979, Monty graduated from US Grant High School. On August 9, 1980, Monty married his one true love, Dana and they shared more than 22 years of marriage together. This union of marriage was blessed with two children. In addition to being a loving husband, devoted father and doting grandfather, Monty also worked as an automotive technician for many years before his retirement in 2010. Monty was very passionate about coaching baseball, fishing, and spending time at the lake, but nothing was as important as being with his family whom he loved with all his heart. Monty was known for his ability to fix anything and always willing to lend a helping hand. He will be fondly remembered as a kind, loving and wonderful man. Monty loved and cared deeply for his family and he will be held close to our hearts each day.

He was preceded in death by his:
Parents, Joe and Jaynelle Wenthold;
Wife of 22 years, Dana Wenthold.

Monty leaves behind his loving family:
Daughter, Kalee Dimmick and her husband, Chad of Yukon, OK;
Son, Ryan Wenthold and his wife, Robin of Blanchard, OK;
Brothers: Chris Wenthold, Ty Wenthold and Jason Wenthold;
4 Grandchildren: Addison Dimmick, Collin Dimmick, Silas Wenthold, and Evelyn Wenthold;
As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family and dear friends.

Services to celebrate his life will be held at 10:00am Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at the South Colonial Chapel of Vondel Smith & Son Mortuary. Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary 6934 S. Western.
