Marie passed away on Sunday, having recently celebrated her 97th birthday with her large, extended family and hosted by her granddaughter. She was born to the late Abel W. and Agatha Babin Faucheaux and was the beloved wife of the late Louis Joseph Pichoff. The two were married on 09 March 1946 in Orleans Parish, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 4 sisters; her daughter, Carolyn P. Lemoine; as well as grandsons Byron Lemoine and Bret Lemoine. Left to grieve this wonderful woman are a son-in-law, 3 sons and a daughter-in-law; 2 granddaughters; and 2 grandsons. Also survived by numerous great and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. As the family said, "If there was ever an angel on earth, she would be one." She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Relatives and friends said their goodbyes at the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Monday, December 5, 2022 at 1:30pm. R.I.P. , sweet Maw Rie. You were dearly loved because you loved so well.
