Hilda Gray Ayscue Cottrell, 88, of Louisburg, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022. She was born on October 1, 1934 to the late Hurley J and Zona Tutor Ayscue. In addition to her parents, Hilda was predeceased by her husband, Louis Donald Cottrell; and sisters, Shelvie Burnette and Doris Smith.
Hilda was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. She was a strong, independent, and feisty lady. Hilda loved her family, and was proud of her sons, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, watching birds, sports especially NC State, as well as watching Jeopardy and Family Feud.
