JOSEPH R BRODNAX, 62, DIES IN MONROE, BURIAL AT BASTROP
Joseph R. Brodnas, 62, of Bastrop, died in a Monroe hospital last Friday, April 17, 1942, after a long illness. Mr. Brodnas had been a civil engineer and railway auditor.
Funeral services were conducted from the First Baptist Church in Bastrop Friday afternoon and burial was in the Old City Cemetery in the family plot. Rev. Paul Driscoll was in charge of the services.
Mr. Brodnas is survived by a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
