Harry B. Cyphers
Tuolumne City – A service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Terzich & Wilson Funeral Home for Harry Barney Cyphers, 72, who died in his home Saturday after a long illness.
A native of Kansas, Mr. Cyphers had lived in Tuolumne City since 1947 and worked as a brakeman for the Pickering Lumber Co. and the Westside Lumber Co. A veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion Tuolumne Posts. He had lived in California since 1927.
He is survived by his wife, Isabel Cyphers of Tuolumne; two brothers and three sisters.
Entombment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Merced.
