Walter H. Dixson, II, 44, son of the late Maurice and Ethel Dixson of 272 Kingsland St., Nutley, died early Sunday morning in the Newark Eye and Ear Infirmary, Newark, following an illness of three weeks.

Born In Newark, he had resided in Nutley two years and prior to that in Clifton. Mr. Dixson was a sign erector for the United Advertising Co., Newark. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Army.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 11 a. m. in the Quinlan Funeral Home, 27-29 Harding Ave., Clifton. The Rev F. Vernon Losee, Rector of St. Peter Episcopal Church, Delawanna, will officiate. Interment will follow in East Rldgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Friends may call today 3 to 5 and 7 to 10 p. m.

Surviving are a son, Bruce of Nutley; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Dwyer and Miss Martha Dixson of Nutley.
