Note: Some online trees have him incorrectly listed as the child of Thomas Henry Abel and Elizabeth Katherine (maiden name unknown) Woodfin Abel. Isham is NOT their son as Thomas's will and Rev War pension files shows that he had seven daughters and one son, Samuel, born 1807.

Not listed on 1870 census with family, taken 8 Aug 1870 (census day 1 Jun 1870). Letters of Administration 26 Nov 1870; Witnesses for appraisal appointed 26 Nov; Appraisement 30 Nov; Inventory taken 15 Dec 1870.

He lived in the Cliquot, Missouri area and is likely buried somewhere near there. Very possibly in Salem Cemetery but no stone or record of it can be found.
