Landon was 2007 graduate from Cookeville High School. He was proud to be a Firefighter/EMT with the Cookeville Fire Department, and served as a part-time EMT with Putnam County EMS. Additionally, he was a volunteer with the Algood Fire Department. Landon was an avid bowler and a member of the Greater Highlands USBC and Tennessee State USBC.
In addition to his parents, he leaves behind his wife: Lauren Sparks Rice; daughter: Layna Ray Rice (whom he loved more than anything in this world); paternal grandmother: Jean Rice; sister: Leanne (Brandon) Nabors; niece: Allie Nabors; nephew: Brooks Nabors; and many loved ones in the Jackson family.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: A.J. Rice; and maternal grandparents: Ray and Elizabeth Cooper; aunt: Shirley Parsley and uncle: Marshall Cooper.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 16, 2022 at Willow Avenue Church of Christ with Bro. Steve Bowman officiating. Interment followed in Allison Cemetery.
