Alva "Cliff" Duncan, 85, Indianola, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007. Services were September 5, 2007 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Graveside services followed at Evergreen Cemetery in Lineville, Wayne, IA.
Mr. Duncan was born near Lineville, Wayne, IA and served in the Army Air Corps during WW II. He had lived in Indianola since 1961, retiring from the Celotex Corp, as a sales representative and part-time farmer. He enjoyed working on his farm with his equipment including his bulldozer. He also enjoyed dancing and hunting.
He was prededed in death by his parents; his wife, CLAUDIA; a sister, HELEN Waltz; and a brother, LYLE.
Survivors include two sons, BARRY of Des Moines and JIM of Milo; his companion, DARLENE Davison of Indianola; three grandchildren; seven great-granchildren; and a sister, HAZEL Applegate of Indianola.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Clifford Duncan Memorial Fund.
