Havana, IL - Alfred Michael "Mike" Schuman, 57, of 317 S. Schrader in Havana, died at 12:38 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 2006, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Ill.
He was born Sept. 14, 1948, in Canton, Ill., the son of Alfred M. and Rosemary Jennings Schuman. He married Vickie Lowe on Dec. 21, 1978, in Havana and she survives.
Also surviving are two brothers, Elmer Schuman of East Peoria and Alan Schuman of Canton; and three sisters, Rosemaire Wilcoxen of Canton, and Brenda Hopkins and Elsie Johnson, both of Dallas, Texas.
He was of the Baptist faith.
He worked for the Fulton County Rehabilitation Center, first as a forklift operator and later as a custodian.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in rural Bath, Ill.
