Sarah Elizabeth Overturf was born March 5, 1941 to Oscar Overturf and Nancy Paralee (Roberts) Overturf in Hot Spring County, Arkansas, and passed away June 29, 1998 in Amarillo, TX.
On July 14, 1960 she married Carl Edwin Ashley in Malvern AR, and took pride in being a Navy wife for several years. This marraige produced three very loved daughters. They are Patricia Lynne Cook of Houston, TX, Phyllis Ann Bricker of Pearland, TX, and Rebecca Jane Roy of Bauxite, AR. She has eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was blessed with the love and remarriage to Larry Lampton of Peoria, IL after the death of her first husband. Very little information is known regarding Larry's information as he felt it necessary to have his personal family and friends around him in his sorrow and grief. Sarah's surviving family wishes great happiness in his life.
She is survived by her husband Larry Lampton, believed to
be in the Peoria, IL area, her children, seven of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and two brothers, David Overturf and William Overturf, both of the Malvern, AR area. She was preceded in death by her former husband Carl, her parents, and one brother, Oscar Overturf.
She is interred in the Kilbourne Cemetary in Kilbourne,IL. She will always be greatly loved and missed.
