Funeral service for Ms. Tara M. Webber, 39, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, April 14, 2022, at North Monroe Baptist Church with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Private family interment will follow at Ouachita City Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe. Visitation will be from 9:30AM until service time Thursday at the church.

Tara was born on November 24, 1982, in Monroe and passed away on April 10, 2022, in Monroe. Tara's outward beauty was so obvious from her pig-tailed, tomboy days through her teenage years and into adulthood. Her inward beauty was also very evident. She loved everyone. Her beautiful smile was contagious. Tara loved her family and friends, working out, sports, and especially her Boston Terriers, Maggie and Daks.

As Tara grew older her struggles intensified. She was often lonely, hurt and sad. Mental illness and addiction are very difficult problems for individuals and their loved ones. Some might say that those kinds of people are "worthless" and "no good", but she was never that to her moma and daddy or her brother, Seth. Tara was loved by them and so many others. Her mother's patience helped her through many dark times. She was Tara's best friend, advisor, and confidant. Tara's daddy was her hero and champion. She was his heart. Tara loved her little sister and brother, Elyse and Seth, dearly.

Tara was also loved immensely by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She never lost her faith in Him and read her Bible often, especially in her last days. Though Tara's awful demons won many battles, ultimately Jesus Christ won the war.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Elyse Ann Webber; maternal grandparents, L. B. and Lorene Townsend; and paternal grandparents, Robert and Margaret Webber.

Survivors include her parents, Robert "Bob" Webber and Janis Townsend Webber; brother, Seth Webber (Lindsey); aunts, Carolyn Honeycutt (Jerry) and Deborah Lehman; uncle, Wayne Townsend (Marcella); and many cousins and other family.

Pallbearers will be Dabo Graves, Craig Honeycutt, Casey Honeycutt, Trey Decker, Michael Roach, Mickey Cleveland, Skeeter Boyd, and Brian Powell.

Memorials may be made to Ouachita City Cemetery Fund, 167 Keystone Rd. Monroe, LA 71203, be sure to put Tara's name in the memo of the check.
