C. "Meryl" Williamson, 85, of Cass City, died Sunday, June 30, at the Tendercare nursing facility in Cass City following a long illness.
He was born May 4, 1911, in Gagetown, to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Williamson.
He married Violet L. Wright June 13, 1956, in Deford. She died Sept. 12, 1995.
Williamson was a life member of the Cass City Masonic Lodge Tyler #317. He worked as a farmer for most of his life.
He is survived by a sister, Betty McGee of Garden Grove, Calif.; brothers-in-law, Carl (Phyllis) Wright of Cass City and Louis Wright of Rochester; several nieces and nephews; and friend and caregiver, Betty Preba of Cass City.
Funeral and Masonic services will be held today (Wednesday) at 7:30 p.m. at Little & Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City, under the direction of the Masonic Lodge Tyler.
Interment will be in Grant Township Cemetery, Gagetown.
