Barbara A. Jordan, age 58, of Ridgway, died unexpectedly Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Penn Highlands DuBois. She was born September 8, 1963, in Ridgway, daughter of the late Earl and Dorothy J. (Dworsky) Jacobs. She married A. John Jordan on October 21, 1989, he survives.
She resided in Ridgway since 1989 and was a former Johnsonburg resident. Barb was a member of St. Leo Catholic Church, the Elk County Women's Association, and was a longtime Elker Football Booster Club member. She loved riding Harleys with her husband, spending time with her children, shopping, the beach, bus trips to NYC, peanut M & M's, snowmen, and watching Steeler Football. She was a 1981 graduate of Johnsonburg High School and a graduate of DuBois Business College. She was employed by Northwest Savings Bank for over 25 years and most recently CNB Bank for 5 years.
She is survived by her husband A. John Jordan of Ridgway, 1 daughter Kendall A. (Cody) Luchs of Ridgway, 1 son Kyle J. Jordan of Ridgway, a stepson Andrew (Shannon) Wright of East Sparta, OH, 2 brothers Brian (Roxanne) Jacobs of St. Marys and Mark (Rachael) Jacobs of Ft. Myers, FL, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Barbara A. Jordan will be celebrated at St. Leo Catholic Church on Monday, January 31, 2022, at 11:30 AM. Officiating will be Fr. Justin P. Pino, Pastor of St. Leo Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Leo Cemetery. Friends will be received at the St. Leo Church Gathering Space from 9:30 until the time of the Mass at 11:30 AM.
