Funeral services for Mrs. Ellen Marie Tinsley, 81, of Doyline, will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 28, 2007 at Rose-Neath Minden Chapel.
Interment will follow at Point Chapel in Doyline under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. today, December 27.
Mrs. Tinsley was born Dec. 18, 1926 in Little Rock, Ark. and died Dec. 26, 2007 in Minden.
Mrs. Tinsley was a resident of Doyline for more than 40 years. She was a homemaker and a member of West Lake Baptist Church for 26 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Tinsley; one sister, Jane Renatza; one daughter, Robbie Freeman; and one son, Johnny Miller.
She is survived by her children, Robert Miller and wife Terry of Semmes, Ala., Gilbert Miller of Mulvane, Kan., Andy Smock and wife Nancy of Athens, Cynthia Page of Carriere, Miss. and Jimmy Norris and wife Pat of Keithville; one daughter-in-law, Rose Miller of Doyline; one sister, Ruby McDonald and husband Joe of Zwolle; and one brother, Jimmy Arant and wife Lilly of Bastrop; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
